SBS drama “Taxi Driver” revealed in an interview with Newsen on March 3 that the schedule for filming the PR video is being adjusted.
Some media outlets reported that “Taxi Driver” had changed the filming schedule for the PR video in response to April’s allegations of in-group bullying, and that only lead actor and actress Lee Je-Hoon and Esom would appear in the video.
A source from “Taxi Driver,” however, responded, “The change in the PR video shooting schedule has nothing to do with the matter in question (April’s Naeun bullying allegations). He added, “We will discuss the bullying allegations after we get the exact situation and confirm the facts.
Prior to this, Mr. A, who claimed to be the younger brother of former April’s Hyunjoo, recently claimed through an online community that his sister suffered from panic attacks and breathing difficulties due to bullying within the group.
In response to this, April’s agency DSP Media denied the bullying theory through an official comment and warned of legal action against Mr. A.
While both sides are currently divided in their claims, the officials of “Taxi Driver” commented that they will consider the allegations surrounding Naeun.
“Taxi Driver” will start airing in South Korea on April 9.
