BTS (BTS) pop-up store “BTS POP-UP: MAP OF THE SOUL” opened on November 14th in Japan, parts of Asia, and Europe.

Big Hit IP, an independent corporation in charge of the IP (knowledge property rights) business of Big Hit Entertainment, opened “BTS POP-UP: MAP OF THE SOUL” in South Korea and the United States last month, and is part of Japan and Asia. The pop-up store “BTS POP-UP: MAP OF THE SOUL”, which opened in South Korea and the United States on the 23rd of last month, has received a lot of support for lifestyle products in various categories that utilize artists and music IP. At pop-up stores, daily necessities and fancy miscellaneous goods such as fashion products with the theme of songs such as “Black Swan” and “ON” and tumblers using the BTS logo are gaining popularity.

To prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, the showcase in Seoul is operated by appointment only and has sold out all the time since its opening. It has been visited by about 10,000 people to date.

Big Hit IP plans to launch additional partnership pop-up stores “BTS POP-UP: SPACE OF BTS” in South Korea and Japan with an improved approach so that more fans can experience offline pop-up stores. ..

At the partnership pop-up store “BTS POP-UP: SPACE OF BTS”, not only the space for selling products, but also the “I PURPLE U” photo zone decorated in purple and the BTS character “TinyTAN” were displayed. A signature space will be provided. In the case of South Korea, Tiny Tan of different members will be displayed depending on the region.

As for the products to be sold, more practical daily necessities and basic fashion items, including new products that were not released at “BTS POP-UP: MAP OF THE SOUL”, will be exhibited, and is the representative of BTS. New products with the themes of the songs “DNA”, “MIC Drop”, “IDOL” and “Boy With Luv (Feat.Halsey)” will also be released.

In South Korea, it will open in Seoul on the 21st, Busan on the 26th, Daegu on the 28th, and Gwangju on the 30th through a partnership with Lotte Department Store, and will operate until February 28th next year. In Japan, in partnership with Universal Music Japan, it is scheduled to open sequentially in 13 cities including Shibuya, Nagoya, Osaka and Sapporo from 7th next month to 7th March next year.
