Park Soo Young (ex-AFTERSCHOOL Lizzy) was sent to the prosecutor on suspicion of drunk driving.
Today (June 1), Seoul Gangnam Police Station announced that they sent Park Soo-yeon to the prosecutor’s office on suspicion of drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act on May 27.
She was involved in a rear-end collision with a cab in front of her at around 10:12 p.m. on May 18 near the south end of the Yongdong Bridge in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu. As a result of a police breathalyzer test, her blood alcohol level at the time of the accident was said to be at the level of a revoked license.
At the time, Park Soo-young (Lizzy) was alone in the car, and there were no passengers in the cab, so no one was injured.
In relation to this, her agency, Celltrion Entertainment, said, “We deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused by what should not have happened. This was a wrong action for which there is no excuse, and we feel a heavy responsibility for causing a controversy that should never have happened,” they apologized.
In statements released, “I sincerely regret my actions. I am truly sorry for causing so many people to worry.” “We will take all possible measures to thoroughly manage the actresses belonging to us so that this kind of thing will never happen again.”
