“Fourth DUI” actress Chae Min-seo sentenced to 8 months in jail and 2 years of probation

The probation of actress Chae Min-seo, who was indicted on suspicion of drunk driving, has been confirmed.

Today (March 14), the Second Division of the Supreme Court sentenced Chae Min-seo, who was charged with drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act, to eight months in prison and two years of probation, the same as the original sentence in her appeal.

She was charged for allegedly driving the wrong way down a one-way street in Seoul’s Gangnam district in March 2019 and ramming into a passenger car across the street. She was under the influence of alcohol and her blood alcohol level at the time was 0.063%.

Choi Min-seo has been punished for drunk driving three times in the past, including being fined and given summary orders in 2012 and 2015, respectively.
