GAON Charts has released its monthly chart for April.
The Korea Music Contents Association, which operates the GAON chart, announced, “IU‘s ‘LILAC‘ won two crowns on the April 2021 monthly chart, taking first place on the digital and streaming charts, and Kang Daniel‘s ‘Antidote‘ from Wanna One took first place on the download and background music charts.
On the monthly album chart, ENHYPEN‘s “BORDER : CARNIVAL” recorded sales of about 520,000 copies and took the No. 1 spot.
In the Monthly Social Chart 2. 0, where you can check the popularity on a global scale, BTS (Bangtan Boys) ranked No. 1 for the second week in a row.

Meanwhile, in the GAON certified album category, BTS‘s “MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA” was certified as Quadruple Million. Stray Kids‘ “Clé: LEVANTER” and ATEEZ‘s “ZERO : FEVER Part. 2“, WayV‘s “Kick Back” and BLACKPINK Rosé‘s “R“, SUPER JUNIOR‘s “The Renaissance” and IU‘s “LILAC” received platinum certification.
In the streaming category, TWICE‘s “FANCY“, OVAN‘s “I Need You”, M. C The Max‘s “BLOOM” and MAMAMOO Hasa‘s “Maria” received platinum certification.
