BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has surpassed 950,000 pre-orders for her solo debut album prior to its release.

YG ENTERTAINMENT announced today (20th) that Jisoo’s first solo album, “ME,” has surpassed 950,000 pre-orders two weeks after the start of pre-sales.

This is the highest number for pre-orders of a K-pop female artist’s solo album. Will Jisoo become the first female K-pop solo artist to achieve a million-seller (sales of one million units for a single album)? We can look forward to seeing what happens next.

Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé, who debuted as soloists before Jisoo, also set new records for album sales, YouTube views, and global rankings, achieving significant results in the K-pop scene.

On March 31st, Jisoo will release her first solo album, “ME.” As the last member of BLACKPINK to embark on a solo project, she has put a lot of effort into perfecting it and incorporated a diverse range of music that fully reflects her identity.

The title track is “FLOWER.” The music video was filmed overseas, and the highest production cost in BLACKPINK’s history was invested in it.

The song will be released at 12 a.m. Eastern Time and 1 p.m. Korean Time.
