Actress Koo Hye-sun explained the background of her sensitive painting.

On May 22, Koo Hye-sun posted a message on her Instagram saying, “I’ve been getting a lot of questions about delicate painting, so I’m posting a message.

The photo shows some of the delicate paintings that Koo Hye-sun has done so far. The delicate drawings used for the album covers of singer GUMMY and pianist Isao Sasaki were also eye-catching.

About this, she said, “Twenty years ago, I started working on illustrations with a ballpoint pen and began to focus on writing delicate lines,” adding, “I gradually became known while creating album covers for singer GUMMY and pianist Isao Sasaki. YG ENTERTAINMENT, which was my agency, gave me many opportunities and supported me.

She continued, “That’s how I came to exhibit. However, as time went by, all the ink from the ballpoint pen started to fly off, and the drawings almost disappeared. Influenced by Dr. Lee Wess, who was drawing with ink at that time, I started using ink instead of ballpoint pen, and that’s when I started drawing delicate pictures. It’s interesting that I have my own history,” “Thanks to YG, whom I was working for at the time” she said.

Koo Hye-sun has announced her comeback as a film director through short films.
