Lee Hyun-woo joins Netflix’s Korean version of “Money Heist” (tentative title).

Lee Hyun-woo will join the cast of “Money Heist” as Rio, the youngest son of a gang of robbers.

The Korean version of “Money Heist” is set on the Korean peninsula, and follows a genius strategist and a group of people with different personalities and abilities as they confront strange variables. Kim Hong-seong, director of the dramas “The Guest” and “Voice” and “Black,” and Ryu Yong-jae, screenwriter of the dramas “Psychopath Diary” and “My Holo Love,” have teamed up to deliver a thrilling story with a sense of scale.

With Lee Hyun-woo joining the team, expectations are once again high for the Korean version of “Money Heist,” which will be released exclusively on Netflix.
