Actor Ma Dong-seok’s unexpected friendship with game creator Hideo Kojima has garnered attention after the two were spotted together.
On the 15th, Ma Dong-seok posted a photo with Kojima on social media, writing “My friend Hideo Kojima, the creator of Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding. Excited for the future!” in both Korean and English, and adding “Let’s do something fun together”.
In the photo, the two are seen standing side by side with their arms around each other’s shoulders, both giving a thumbs up. Ma Dong-seok is wearing a white jacket, while Kojima is in a black T-shirt, and both are smiling brightly. Sushi can be seen on the table in front of them, suggesting the photo was taken during a meal.
In particular, Ma Dong-seok’s comment about “doing something fun together” has led to speculation that the two might collaborate on a project.
Hideo Kojima is a well-known game creator who is often referred to as the “father of the Metal Gear Solid series”. He is also famous as a movie enthusiast.
Last year, Ma Dong-seok revealed that he had legally married entertainer Ye Jung-hwa. The couple had been dating publicly since 2016 and submitted their marriage registration in 2021, although news of their marriage only became public later.
