The next generation K-POP band W24 opened their official Japanese Twitter today, June 1. They released a video message to their Japanese fans.

W24 is a four-member band consisting of leader and guitarist Kim Yunsoo, drummer Kim Jonggil, main vocalist Jung Howon, and keyboardist Park Aaron, who not only plays instruments but also writes lyrics, composes music, and self-produces. W24 is an abbreviation of “World 24 hours”, which means that the band hopes that their music will reach the whole world for 24 hours.

W24 has emerged as the next generation of K-POP bands after winning the “1st ASIA TOP BAND”. ASIA TOP BAND” is an international co-production of broadcasters from seven Asian countries. The program was created to discover talented Asian band musicians and introduce them to the global music market.

W24 will be active in a variety of forms, including online concerts and festivals, and will also be focusing on activities in Japan in the future.
