Singer SE7EN and actress Lee Da-hae are getting married.

On March 20th, SE7EN posted a handwritten letter on his Instagram, announcing that he will marry Lee Da-hae on May 6th.

He told his fans, “Lee Da-hae, who has been my lover for the past 8 years, sharing joy and sorrow together and always loving me despite my flaws, has promised to marry me on May 6th. I will live my life with a sense of responsibility.”

Lee Da-hae also spoke through her Instagram, “Since we have been in a romantic relationship for 8 years, it may not be such a surprise, but… why do I feel so embarrassed? I thought a lot about how to convey this to everyone.”

She continued, “In May, my lover whom I have spent a long time with has promised to become my husband. Although I am more used to the word ‘lover’… He has been a strong support by my side and has given me great happiness. From now on, he (SE7EN) will be my lifelong partner, and I will live my life as a good wife, being more considerate and becoming a source of great strength.”

The two officially acknowledged their romantic relationship in 2016 and have been dating since then.

SE7EN has also publicly expressed his admiration for his girlfriend, Lee Da-hae. In a variety show, he even made a phone call to her and she was charmed by him.
