YG ENTERTAINMENT has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Korean Air.
YG ENTERTAINMENT held a signing ceremony for the business contract today (15th) at the headquarters of Korean Air in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. YG ENTERTAINMENT’s co-CEO, Fan Bogyeong, and Chung Chi-young, Vice President of the Performance Business Group, along with Chang Jung-hyun, Vice President of the Marketing IT Division of Korean Air, attended the ceremony and signed a business contract (MOU) aimed at building a strategic partnership.

Through this business contract, they aim to spread Korean culture and improve their position in the world. As part of this effort, both companies have been airing a special welcome video featuring BLACKPINK on Korean Air flights since March. This is intended to sustain interest in Korean culture by providing BLACKPINK’s music as in-flight entertainment, among other things.
In addition, Korean Air will become the official sponsor of BLACKPINK’s world tour, “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK],” which is currently receiving rave reviews. They plan to continue exploring mutually beneficial ways to cooperate and maintain exchanges in various forms.
In 2023, YG is expected to undergo a major transformation, from G-DRAGON of BIGBANG to a new girl group, with high expectations for a new leap forward. YG ENTERTAINMENT is also implementing a campaign to promote a healthy fan culture and warn against harassing behavior towards their artists.
